A downloadable game

So the pandemic sucks.

We all know this to be true. It sucks for everyone, and it especially sucks if we don't have support groups. The feeling of having to say goodbye to a loved one without knowing when it will be safe to be with them again is one that some of us know and hate all too well. Having been thrown into long distance relationships for an unending amount of time has been hazardous to many relationships, even lethal for some.

It's time we honor that.

Distance from the Heart aims to do just that. A game inspired by Koreen Odiney's We're Not Really Strangers, DFH aims to connect and open conversations for partners that have been struggling with distance during these hard times.

And make it queer.

I have intentionally made this game playable for 2+ people. It is important for me to respect the different kinds of relationships that exist in this world. If it is hard enough to upkeep a long distance relationship with one person, I bow to those who are doing it for more.

It is also not filled with gendered nonesense as many romance connection games are. Any and all love is welcome.
